Nasal Flu Immunisation

This year, all the children at Ivington CE Primary and Pre-school from Year R to Year 6 will be offered a flu vaccine, given as a simple squirt up the nose.  It is painless, quick and side effects are uncommon and generally mild.  

By having the flu vaccination, children are less likely to pass the virus on to friends and family, especially those who may be at greater risk from flu, such as infants, elderly people or friends or relatives with a serious health condition.

The Nasal Flu Vaccination is due to take place in school on Monday 10th October.

It is important that you complete the on-line Consent Form  even if you do not wish for your child to have the vaccine.
