Good morning Chestnut Class, 

I hope you are nice and dry cozied up at home!

Today, you will be completing a range of lessons at home. Your timetable for the day is below. 

RWI: please read through your books at home and practice your sounds in your folders. Those of you in 'comprehension' group, there is a comprehension text for you in the files below. 

Literacy: today you will be learning all about noun phrases. You will need to think about your noun first, then think about the adjectives you are using to describe it. There is also a challenge on the activity sheet for you to complete if you would like.

Maths: There are two attached 'maths mats'. You DO NOT need to complete both. Please choose the one that you would be happier to complete. Then, you can play on some maths games.

Spellings: I have attached a spelling worksheet for you all. This is revisiting and practicing the spelling pattern/ rules that we learned about on Friday of last week. 

Science: We are continuing our work on 'Everyday Materials'. Please go outside and use the table on the science worksheet to record different materials and their uses. Which material did you see the most?
